I am trying to figure out what the authentication requirements are to use dameware across multiple domains.
I am in Domain1.com and I need to be able to support Domain2.com, but I have to create an account in Domain2.com to be able to support these users.
I want to be able to use my Domain1.com account to manage all users in Domain2.com. I have made my account part of Domain2.com 's built in administrators group but still no luck.

Sometime when connecting to high resolution clients, my dameware mrc does not let me move the window on my screen. I am connected to two clients right now for example. One is at 1024x768. The dameware "window" has a menu bar (File, Send, Monitor...) and buttons, and the display of this remote machine is integrated within this window. I can minimize, maximize, close or drag this window around no problem.
The other machine I am connected to is 1920x1080. The view of this remote machine is separated from the dameware toolbar in the top middle of my screen. The window border around the view of the remote machine is so thin that there is nothing to grab ahold of to move this window around my screens. I can only really awkwardly resize it to move it to another monitor or another place on my screen. How could I get the view of this remote machine attached with the menu bar and tool bar, like the other machine? There's no way to disconnect either. Well one would have to close it from the taskbar. If you click the little X in the top anchored, centered toolbar that is detached from the remote PC view, that toolbar goes away permanently . unless you close dameware and reopen it.
I am using MRC 9.0
We don't keep information in AD like user names in description fields for computer objects, therefore unfortunately something like an AD Import for the global hosts list will not work for me. However, I am able to automate the creation of a list in CSV or XML of hosts, IP Addresses, and Aliases (which will be user names). Does DameWare Centralized Server have any local file or registry key that maintains the global hosts list that I can simply replace in order to update the global hosts list?
I work in a company and we use DameWare MRC Standalone but now we want to upgrade it to Centralized License. So we are wondering about the fact that if we install DameWare Central Server then where would its Database be installed either with the server or we have to install it somewhere else?. Also do we need to update all of our MRC clients on all the servers we have it installed?
Hi, running version 11 of remote control client, can someone post example of registry settings to turn off clipboard feature? When trying to copy and paste on a Windows 2012 R2 Server using remote client, it always crashes Server manager, this is the exception error :
EXCEPTION_CODE: (HRESULT) 0x800401d0 (2147746256) - OpenClipboard Failed

I try the demo of "Dameware mini remote control" for my company and now i will buy it.
I have a question, is it possible to send Pop-Up message to all users of my LAN? For example : "Hello everybody, please close our application and wait 15 minutes".
I don't want to chat or send mail but send a LAN Message. Before it was "net send" on command dos but now it's impossible.

avec les derniers drivers Intel HD graphics, j'ai un écran tout noir (et je ne peux rien faire) quand je me connecte avec Dameware Mini Remote Control (uniquement quand le capot du portable est fermé).
Si j'ouvre le capot du portable, l'écran s'affiche bien.
J'ai bien paramétré 'Ne rien faire" quand je ferme le capot.
Je n'ai pas de problème pour prendre la main en bureau à distance.
Avez-vous une solution pour ce problème ?

OK .. I think I am missing something simple in XP but I have been unable to find the auto start for Mimi Remote Control. We installed the new version 12 on my laptop and apparently selected the startup folder as part of the install. It is working as expected in that Mini Remote Control starts every time the laptop boots but I now have somany other things starting that it takes like 5 minutes to boot. I looked in both my startup folder and the all users startup folder but I did not see anything there. I also dod not see anything in the program settings to enable / disable this. Am I just looking in the wrong place or just not seeing it.

I'm using Dameware 7.5 and just installed 11.1 to test.
I support a lab environment that has many different versions of Windows. I had to replace one of my Windows XP systems do to hardware failure. Now with new hardware and feash install of windows XP. I can not login to the new computer using Dameware with Domain Accounts. But I'm able to logon with local admin accounts. I can RDP in with domain accounts.I can logon local to the computer with the same domain account.
I get "Error 1326 unknown user or bad password" when trying to logon with a domain account.
I've checked simply file share is disabled. The firewall is off. This network does not have internet access.
I can log into any other system fine its just the one. I would like to add in normal operation there is no keyboard, mouse, or monitor connected to these computers.
Does anyone know how to create a shortcut to open to a host into fullscreen?

Im making a computer that auto boots, and logs into multiple virtual machines and displays them on seperate monitors. I've got everything except for figuring out how to make dameware open fullscreen. I can't find any options or anything. The closest I can get is having the screen maximized
Has anyone found a work around for not being able to send the ctrl+alt+del command to a Windows 10 machine? I'm running version 12.0.3.4010.
Is it possible to export profile from Dameware Mini Remote Control installation package builder (MSI) ?
